Cover for the M1989 helmet.
It has an elastic cord for attaching foliage. Note that there is a gap
in the cord at front of the cover (Where some joker has written 'USMC'
with ballpoint pen). The cover is held in place by an elastic string.
The label says 'AVTOTAP, Maribor'. |

Here is a cover in woodland like
pattern for a black PASGT helmet used by Slovenian police. The cover
has no foliage slits and was probably attached to the helmet by a
rubber band or similar, since there is no drawstring nor space in the
lining for such. |
